Tips for tea brewing

Depending on your preference, you can enjoy drinking your Tea with or without plain or with a bit of milk, lemon, honey or sugar. Water, Milk & Tea ratio can be adjusted as per individual taste. In Asia, people typically drink tea without accompaniments. In England a small amount of milk is often added for extra body & smoothness. In Russia, brewing tea & adding lemon is common. Raspberry jam is sometimes added for sweetness. If standard Kitchen Tea spoon is used then use ½ tea spoon for 1 cup of tea. In case you are using plastic spoon packed in the tea bottle then use 2 spoons of tea for 1 cup of tea. (2 plastic spoons are equal to i/2 tea spoon). Govind Madhav Herbal Tea brewing needs a little patience & practice. It will taste a little bitter if the quantity used per cup is more than recommended. It is because of Arjuna Chhal (Termanalia arjuna, Bark of Arjuna Myrrobalan), which has been added as it is a heart tonic & helps in controlling blood pressure. Arjun Chhal is a very bitter herb. Always use fresh water to make the Govind Madhav Herbal Tea & prepare in clean cookware of cast iron, glass or stainless steel (other than aluminum). Yet, brewing tea is all about the experience & how you take your tea is a matter of individual taste & enjoyment. Experiment until you find a combination that suits your palate "to an Herbal Tea (tisane)."
